CASE Access Form

**In order to grant access to the building and departmental spaces we require that all staff read and acknowledge the guidelines below. This is to help us maintain the safety and security of all those who work in this building.**

Saturday-Wednesday: 7:30 AM - 10:00 PM

4^th Floor Hours

Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

CASE is closed on gameday weekends and open on select Saturday mornings.

Access Safety Guidelines
When leaving or entering the building at any time, please ensure the door you are using is closed firmly behind you.

• The keypad shows if a door is locked or unlocked – if there is a green flashing light and solid orange light it is unlocked/open, if there is only a solid orange light then it is locked/closed.
• If you see a door unlocked when you know it should be locked (or visa versa) contact CASE Building Services immediately on x51448, x24098 or via caseservices@colorado.edu or the OCC on x25522.

Door Safety Expectations

• Do not hold doors open for people you do not know have access to the building when using outside doors during building closure.
• Never prop doors open.
• Ensure the doors you use are secure.
• As you come and go when the building is closed please keep any eye on outside doors and secure any that you see might not be completely latched.
• Never give your Buff OneCard to another person for building access.

Professional Staff Access Safety Guidelines
Please note Custodial staff are typically present in the building 7am – 10pm on weekdays.

• We understand the need to work late/early. Staff that remain in the building after hours do so at their own risk and will be responsible for the security of the building. You will be expected to remain in your own departmental area and to not use the common areas or conference rooms at this time.

Any guests you have in the building should remain with you at all times.
Children should not be allowed to roam the building unattended.

Student Employee Access Safety Guidelines
CASE Building Services prefers that student employees are only accessing the building out of hours for work related purposes.

• Student Employees should only be entering the building outside of opening hours as required by the job for which they are paid/volunteering.
• A student employee must avoid being alone in the building.
• Student Employees are not permitted to access the building during weekends or over holidays/campus closures, unless it is already open or for a special work related reason.
• Students must not bring non-employees into the building outside of opening hours, at any time, for any reason, without prior approval by CASE Building Services.
